Iroquois Landing

Iroquois Landing Lakefront Terminus:

Iroquois Landing is located at the mouth of the Calumet River in the southwest corner of Lake Michigan.  Currently, Iroquois Landing is a 190-acre, open paved terminal with 3,000 linear feet of ship and barge berthing space with a navigation depth of 27 feet with more than 135 railcar spots.  Home to over 350,000 square feet of indoor storage with two 100,000 square foot transit sheds and one 30,000 square foot transit shed with direct truck and rail access.  Today Iroquois Landing is home to one of the largest stevedoring companies in North America and houses the City of Chicago’s Air & Sea Rescue center.
